The inaugural Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival went down in Okeechobee, Florida this weekend. One of the more intriguing sets came in the form of a “PoWow!” superjam featuring Arcade Fire’s Win Butler, Miguel, John Oates, Kamasi Washington, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and more.
They performed a number of covers, including David Bowie’s “Fame” and “Rebel Rebel”, Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir”, The Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy For the Devil”, and an obligatory performance of Drake’s “Hotline Bling”. What’s more, Mumford and Sons’ Marcus Mumford and Skrillex joined in for encore performances of “Rock the Casbah” and Earth Wind & Fire’s “Let’s Groove”.
