ASAP Rocky’s new album, At.Long.Last.ASAP, was originally set for release on June 2nd through ASAP Worldwide/RCA Records. However, after prematurely leaking online, Rocky has made the full 18-track record available for purchase through iTunes. Update: Fans can also stream the album below via Spotify.
The Harlem MC’s sophomore album follows 2013’s major label debut, Long.Live.ASAP, and boasts a star-studded list of collaborators. Among them: Kanye West, M.I.A., Lil Wayne, Miguel, Rod Stewart, Mos Def, Danger Mouse, and ScHoolboy Q. Also of note is a contribution from ASAP Yams, the late ASAP Mob founder who passed away earlier this year. (The LP’s artwork is an homage to Yams, too.)
“I just poured it all out on this album,” Rocky says of A.L.L.A’s depth and lyricism, adding, “All my emotions, my thoughts, my feelings. I didn’t hold back one bit.” As for the record’s title, it’s a reference to Rakim Allah, the Long Island MC that Rocky (who was born Rakim Mayer) was named after. “I’m taking ownership of the fact that I was named after the god MC himself,” he tells Billboard. “I’m basically saying it’s the return of the god.”
Pre-orders for the album are ongoing.
