Aside from a lone Klaxons remix earlier this year, we’ve barely heard a peep from The Chemical Brothers. The renowned electronic outfit’s last new piece of new music was the 2012 song “Theme From Velodrome”, their contribution to the London Olympics. Meanwhile 2010’s Further served as their last proper full-length. However, the duo break their silence today with a new song for the upcoming soundtrack to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1Entitled “This Is Not A Game”, it’s a massive collaboration featuring Lorde (who curated the entire soundtrack) and Miguel.

Premiered by BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, “This Is Not A Game” is an explosive banger that sees The Chemical Brothers dropping pulverizing beats around Miguel’s suave R&B croon and Lorde’s shadowy warble. Not only is it a welcome comeback single for the British electronic duo, but another example of Lorde’s on-point Hunger Games curating skills.

Listen to a radio rip below.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 soundtrack is out November 17th, while the film hits theaters on November 21st. For more of its music, check out Lorde’s “Yellow Flicker Beat”.
