Before his plentiful presence at Sunday’s BET Awards, R&B crooner Miguel offered up a captivating performance at Saturday’s inaugural BET Experience. Among his usual setlist, the perfectly-quaffed entertainer busted out a cover of Tupac’s “I Get Around”. Eschewing his usual heartfelt vocals, Miguel displayed his impressive skills as a rapper, though he couldn’t totally shake off his “soulful romantic” image with the track’s uber thuggish rhymes. But as an added bonus, he accompanied the tune with some rather, um, intriguing choreography that thankfully didn’t end with any flying leg drops.
