Behind his Blank Face LP, ScHoolboy Q released four gritty, thought-provoking videos for “By Any Means”, “Black THougHts”, “Tookie Knows II”, and “John Muir”. For his latest clip “Overtime”, Q swaps the serious subject matter for some good ole R&R, which for the Top Dawg rapper consists of a haircut and some female companionship of the booty flaunting variety.
Among the other highlights in the visual: The ladies’ barely-there shorts change colors like a mood ring, and Miguel, one of the song’s collaborators, makes a cameo from atop a mountain. Q’s half-naked, “I wanna fuck right now” party doesn’t seem all that appropriate for a playground, but what do I know? It’s not like I have one of the year’s best hip-hop records or most anticipated tours under my belt.
